My name is Michael Lefebvre (pronounced la-FAVE, way easier than it looks) and I am the owner of MeetingHouse Media, a real estate marketing firm that provides professional photography, videography, floor plans and property websites for busy real estate agents with a taste for exceptional marketing.

In the Fall of 1987, I came to Boston as a 17-year old drummer from a small town in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains to attend Berklee College of Music. In June of 1991 fellow drummer Phil Collins (yes, THAT Phil Collins) handed me my degree in Music Production and Engineering and I jumped in the back of a van to pursue my dreams of rock and roll stardom. Although I came close at times, I never fully realized that dream, but had one hell of a time trying. We did get a short review of our music in Rolling Stone. It was mostly favorable.

About 10 years after jumping in that van, the band broke up and my initial foray into real estate was as a real estate appraiser. For nearly 7 years, I analyzed and calculated market values on over 1,500 Massachusetts properties. The work was plentiful and the experience was rich, but by their very nature real estate appraisals are inherently UN-creative (or at least they should be). The inner creative in me was aching to be set free.

In 2005, I got my real estate salesperson license and began to flex my artistic muscles by providing my sellers with top notch marketing services. I honed my photography skills and won some national contests with my real estate marketing videos while I generally figured out what the heck I was doing with this fancy camera I had. Slowly but surely, the buttons all started to make sense and the images and videos started to look pretty darn good. I sold a few houses along the way, too.

By 2010 our industry was in the heart of the great real estate meltdown. I responded to a growing need amongst my colleagues and started providing photography and videography services to my fellow real estate agents. It seemed like a natural progression. I knew the business well, knew exactly what they needed, and they liked my work. Since then I've expanded my offerings to include floor plans and property websites and I continue to polish my craft and strive to make each project better than the last one.

I'm still a licensed real estate agent, but spend more time today behind the lens than I do at open houses. I think the rare pairing of my actual, in-the-trenches, real estate experience combined with my marketing skills make me the perfect choice in a marketing partner. I love making homes look like they belong in magazines. I love hearing that homeowners cried when they saw a video I made of their home. I love the creative release the camera provides. I'm passionate about my work, a stickler for details and admittedly a little bit "artsy" at times. My clients tell me that it's refreshing to work with someone who "gets it".  I've been told I'm easy to work with and proud that most all of my work comes directly by referral.

That's a little bit about me. I'd love to hear more about you and learn how I might be able to help you grow your real estate business.

Thanks for reading!
